Adventures

I've had a lot of adventures in my life so far! I can't wait to keep having more. Here's some of the awesome things I've done/places I've been.

West World of Scottsdale
I've shown at West World numerous times now. I've even been in the equidome! Can you spot me in the picture? It was right before the liberty class at the Touch of Class Miniature Horse Show.

Karsten's Ace Hardware
Mom used to work at Karsten's Ace Hardware. They're very pet friendly there (they even have a store cat! He does not like me very much, however). I first when not too long after arriving in Arizona. I've been to Ace several times now, the employees there love seeing me when I come visit.

Black Mountain Feed
My first trip to Black Mountain Feed in Cave Creek, Az was to be fitted for a new halter. My baby halter was just a tad too small! I then went again for their horse halloween costume contest (I went as a sheep and placed 3rd out of a ton of horses!)

Desert Ridge
Desert Ridge is an outdoor mall in Phoenix. While I have yet to go exploring the entire mall I have been in the parking lot!

Petsmart
I went to the Petsmart in Desert Ridge the first time to try on dog clothes. Turns out sizes large and extra large fit me quite nicely! I've been back a couple times, for the fun of it. Out of all the places I go the people here at petsmart are always the most shocked to see me. You think they've never seen a horse before!

Parada Del Sol
I wasn't even a year old yet and I was in the Parada Del Sol! For being the "Parade of the Sun" it sure was rainy-and COLD! I had to wear a blanket to keep warm but it still ended up getting soaked. I sure hope the next one is nice and sunny and warm. I was a trooper though and marched down Scottsdale road with Mom, Cody, and Avalon (and the rest of the human family). I met a four month old miniature filly there who was taller than I was! Needless to say I was a crowd favorite.

Horseshoe Trails Elementary School
I first went to the school just days after I arrived in Arizona so Mom could show her co-workers her new son; the little man she had been waiting for weeks to arrive! They were all so excited to see me. I even got to see many of the kids who where attending summer camp there. I've been back a few times to visit and star in my own play! I was the star of the play "The Last Unicorn" (video to come soon). I was not a fan of the horn I had to wear, I felt it made me look too girly! I did great though and the crowd adored me.

Deer Valley Orthodontics
By request of one of the techs, Gina, I was asked to make a visit to Deer Valley Ortho(dontics). Don't worry, I don't need braces and neither does my Mom! Mom's brother goes there for his orthodontic work and the doctors and tech's had heard all about me. Finally Mom brought me by for a visit. I forgot my shoes at home so I couldn't go inside. Instead, every one came out to me! Can you spot me tucked away in this crowd? There's me, Mom, two happy doctors, and three very excited patients.

Horse Lover's Arena
I've only been to Horse Lover's Arena once for a Blue Ribbon Horse Show. I took first place for stallions then took Grand Champion Miniature. Horse Lover's Arena is nice, its open and good for small shows. It's really close to West World, actually, right across the street. Mom says its on West World property and its not really called Horse Lover's Arena. But I'm going to say that's what it was called.

The Pick-Up Truck
When I was younger (and weighed less!) I used to ride in the back seat of the ranch pick up. Mom would ride with me back there and on days that I was tired I'd sleep in her lap.

The Cobalt
Now that I'm more mature (in other words, weigh more!) Mom can't pick me up quite so easily to lift me into the pick up so I ride in her car! All it takes are a few minor adjustments and we're ready to go anywhere! Have you ever seen a horse riding shotgun in a two door sedan?

The Dog Park (Grovers and Union Hills, Phoenix)
The dog park is where I met Mom's good friend Amanda for the first time. I also met a very special gentleman there who had something Mom called Autism. I felt an instant connection and we had a great Saturday afternoon. Dog owners were a little shocked to see me there but hey, I was smaller than most of the dogs there! After the dog park we made a pit stop to visit another friend at their work, a hair salon. I don't know the name and Mom can't recall either. I guess it doesn't matter too much now considering they're closed.

Other places I've been (assume Arizona unless otherwise noted):
A-1 Houck's Miniatures (Burlington, WI)

Transport Stops (I was in Texas and New Mexico while the transport truck was being fixed. It broke down twice!)
