All About Me!

Hi there! I’m Kinson, a 25.5 inch tall (that’s only 6.1 hands high!) miniature horse stallion. My official AMHA (American Miniature Horse Association) registered name is Houck’s Grande Kinson. Kinson means little prince/king’s son, I think its very befitting of a horse such as myself-don’t you agree? I'm pending registration for AMHR (American Miniature Horse Registry) and I'm qualified for PtHA (Pinto Horse Association) as breeding stock, since my father was a pinto and I have pinto genetics (and traits).

I was foaled March 3rd, 2009 at A-1 Houck’s Miniature Horses way up in Burlington, Wisconsin. My sire is Houck’s Mr. GG’s Grande Finale and my dam is Soat’s Lil’ Spun Sand. You can view my full pedigree here. When I was a few months old I made a long journey from my home in Wisconsin to my new home with my new Mom all the way in Arizona! It was a long trip. It didn’t help that my hauler’s truck kept breaking down delaying us. It took a full two weeks for me to arrive!

I’m a young still but I’ve had so many adventures so far. You can view those on my adventures page. Mom says she has a lot of future plans in store for me such as more therapy work, showing, and educating people about miniatures.
